When Younes’ spiritual guide dies, he sets off on a journey to rediscover himself. Led by an obsession with an enigmatic folk singer, he moves from hidden worlds in Cairo to the depths of Upper Egypt. Along the way, he meets dreamers and the down and out and somehow finds life outside the boundaries once set for him.
