“She Was Not Alone” follows Fatima, an independent 60-year-old Iraqi woman who chooses to live alone with her beloved animals in the Iraqi marshes. But as climate change creates harsh living conditions, Fatima may be forced to migrate to the city, and lose her most cherished possessions—her animals and her independence.
