In a conservative village in southern Egypt, a group of Coptic teenage girls forms an all-female street theatre troupe, challenging traditions while fleeting between childhood and adulthood. “The Brink of Dreams” is a hybrid documentary that engages with the girls using performances, songs, reconstruction of dreams, confessions and self-portraits, chasing the wildness and elusiveness of being young.
