AFAC has opened the call for applications to its first cycle of grants, namely for Visual Arts (VA), Performing Arts (PA), AFAC Documentary Program (ADP), Arab Documentary Photography Program (ADPP), and Creative and Critical Writings (CCW).
The deadline for submitting the applications is May 1, 2019.
Applications can be submitted in Arabic or English, except for ADPP applications which are available in English only, and CCW applications which are available in Arabic only. The application form has been upgraded for all grants’ categories on the new AFAC website, and needs to be submitted online, through the applicant’s existing account or by creating a new account.
The applicants will be evaluated by an independent jury committee for each grant category, composed of experts and artists drawing from diverse backgrounds and originating from various parts of the Arab region and beyond.
The results will be announced in July 2019.
