Detainees and Disappeared - Art Documents and Archives Speak is a traveling art exhibition featuring artistic and creative works related to detention and forced disappearance in Syria, primarily presented in Syrian national museums and public spaces. The artworks document the experiences of victims of forced disappearance and detention at the hands of the Assad regime and de facto authorities. Art and storytelling are effective tools for supporting humanitarian causes and political advocacy, as well as vital resources for transitional justice processes.
