Gorbej is the intimate, bittersweet chronicle of a middle-class Tunisian family from 2018 onward as they experience the consequences of the Jasmine Revolution. The family includes a model student, Jihene; an apprentice professional footballer, Khalil; their parents Zina and Moncef. And Iheb, the eldest son behind the camera. In a family where it is so difficult to express feelings, filming is Iheb’s way of telling his family he cares about them and loves them.
