Born in 1999, Iheb Abidi is a Tunisian writer-director. At the age of 15, he joined the Tunisian Federation of Amateur Filmmakers, then the Tunisian Association for the Promotion of Film Criticism. He studied film and audiovisual media at the Higher Institute of Multimedia Arts in the University of Manouba, graduating in 2022. He is the director of a short film entitled Chakchouka (Traffic), which was selected for the Student Film section of FESPACO 2023, in the African Short Film category at FIDADOC 2023, and for the Student Film section of the Durban International Film Festival, 2023.
