Loss as a Collective Psychological Structure in the Palestinian Context: A Psychological Analysis of Steadfastness Across the History of Occupation examines loss as a collective psychological experience in the Palestinian context, exploring how forms of resilience have developed among Palestinians. It focuses on the stories of children who have lost limbs, and on the ways traumatic experiences can become sources of strength and meaning, connecting psychoanalysis with cultural and social practices. Through documenting personal stories and lived experiences, the project asks: Is resilience a choice, or a reality one is compelled to live? It also explores the meaning of hope for Palestinians and how it manifests in everyday life.
