A Place Called Home documents the daily and psychological lives of single men in Baghdad who have come from various Iraqi governorates in search of work opportunities, self-realization and a better future. Rooted in a personal experience that spans a decade of shared housing and constant movement between the city’s neighborhoods, the project offers an intimate look at living in a crowded, exhausting city, rich with contradictions.
