Mohanad Abbood is a photographer born in the city of Hit. He lives and works in Baghdad, moving between the two cities while documenting life across both. His photography practice focuses on capturing emotions and details from everyday moments in his life, as well as from people and the street. The Euphrates River is one of the central subjects he strives to portray with authenticity and in detail, particularly in western Iraq. Mohanad has participated in several solo and group exhibitions.
