Walid, a young Black Tunisian boy with progressive mutism, escapes his harsh reality through magic and illusion. His father exploits these talents, enlisting Walid in petty theft and street scams, while his mother fears her son might be mistaken for a Sub-Saharan migrant amid growing anti-Black racism in Tunisia. As tensions rise, family conflicts deepen, adding fear and uncertainty to their fractured bond.
