Masha'er Teshawer is a collaborative, conceptual album inspired by and invested in femininities and queernesses that have emanated from pop culture and music and video production in the Arab world in the past 25 years. Featuring 16 women from the region, it blends pop, EDM, punk, hip-hop and deconstructed club music to forge a new sound from (and for) its context.
