A Conversation With is a multi-channel video installation based on games of backgammon filmed between the artist and seven people living in exile who were originally from Syria, Lebanon and Iraq. By staging this intimate activity, the project explores personal stories of exile, memory and identity, offering an alternative space for listening and sharing narratives often left untold.
