Reclaiming Urbanism

Reclaiming Urbanism is a collective editing and publishing initiative that seeks to reconnect people with their cities in contexts marked by decades of authoritarian rule and the violence of imposed urban plans. Through a quarterly newspaper and a series of workshops, it generates critical knowledge on urban transformations and unsettles official narratives in the pursuit of spatial justice — framing the city as a site of political and cultural struggle. The project also works to reactivate journalism as a medium for critical reflection and community dialogue.
