This  historical fiction recasts milestones from the period of the early 90's — including the general amnesty that put an end to national hostilities in the wake of the Cold War, the early period of Lebanon’s reconstruction, and the neoliberal economic project — through the lens of the collective imaginary of a society whose experience spans the failure of the welfare state, its dismantling and war.
