Growling is a graphic novel that follows the daily life of Rahma, a 12-year-old girl. From its simple details, we see life from the perspective of Rahma who lives between separated parents. She spends half her week in her dad’s house and the other half in her mother’s. Both parents adopt a different outlook on life and, therefore, different approaches to raising her. Between the two approaches, Rahma tries to explore who she is. She chooses her identity and finds her way in life. The graphic novel is made up of daily small stories, separate and interlinked.
