INDKNA is a feminist band with Yemeni roots, currently based in North America, whose work offers alternative and empowering narratives for women and minorities. A band of mostly queer asylum seekers, its music centers a radical feminist approach in its songwriting practice as it tackles issues of bodily censorship, political unrest in Yemen, and personal struggle, to name a few. With this project, INDKNA will release their first full-length music album and music video.
