ATABA (عتابا) is Wassim Halal’s second solo album for Darbuka, exploring rhythms of percussions in a contemporary way. This record is a one-story album on the theme of lament, creating a particular sensation of temporality, an imaginary world where our musical landmarks are phantom limbs.
