A contemporary circus performance, “Rakkas” portrays the character of the dancer, emblematic of Morocco’s history and popular storytelling. In charge of transporting official correspondences, letters and public goods to the town shop and other cities, the protagonist travels by foot, enduring tough climates and fending off dangerous bandits.
