Samar Yazbek, renowned Syrian writer, journalist and activist, took part in the Syrian uprising of 2011 and was forced into exile in Paris. Fighting with her words and work for justice and freedom against dictatorship and fundamentalism, she offers a human insight into the Syrian tragedy. The film is an intimate portrait of our evolving dialogue shot over more than 4 years.
