A first-time collection of 15 literary works of Arab women from Lebanon and abroad, offering an alternative view from the traditionally patriarchal field of writing and knowledge production. Linking their current work and knowledge to their hidden past, the collection retells the history of the Arab region through reviving forgotten events and documenting marginalized dialogue of women, carrying gendered discourse from the academic fields back to the heart of society.
