El-Sekka is an acoustic exploration and musical recreation of Egypt's railway network, its passengers, and its workers. El-Sekka aims to archive and musically recycle the soundscapes of the Egyptian railway experience through a public and interactive sound archive, supplemented with sociocultural research (text+visual), and followed by a collaborative musical reproduction of the railway's sounds and stories.
