This project aims to document the Syrian collective memory through a research program in order to produce a graphic novel for children in the style of old Syrian tales (grandmothers’ stories), which are becoming extinct. This project also attempts to share these stories through local collaborations with Syrian children located in Syria and in refugee countries by adopting the storytelling style in the current settlement countries with the local working teams as a way of raising awareness and shedding light on this forgotten human aspect.
