Shennawy is an illustrator and graphic novel author born in Cairo in 1978. He works between Brussels and Cairo. He published his first graphic novel in Alaa Eddin magazine in Cairo and has participated in other publications and fairs in the Arab region and internationally. He was a founding partner of Tuk Tuk magazine in 2011, which he has contributed several stories to, including the character of the sayes, which he has developed over time and now plans to employ in his own graphic novel.
