Tarek Saqer is a composer and a professional oud maker with extensive experience in designing and crafting both traditional and contemporary ouds. He is committed to reviving classical Arabic music through composition and arrangement. His passion for oud making drives his continuous research and development to produce high-quality instruments that cater to the needs of both professional and non-professional musicians. He studied at the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus and has been a member of the Syrian Artists Syndicate since 2016. A skilled oud player, he has over 10 years of experience teaching oud, solfege and classical Arabic singing. He has composed and arranged numerous musical works, and has participated in several productions presented at the Damascus Opera House and other theaters across Syria.
