Fatima Zahra Mokhtari is an author and the co-founder of Agafay Books, an initiative dedicated to the creation of children’s books rooted in landscapes, stories and natural heritage of Morocco. Passionate about environmental education and awareness-building, she writes to help children understand the challenges that affect their daily lives, notably water scarcity, the preservation of biodiversity and the protection of fragile ecosystems.
