Yara Al Khoury is a Lebanese independent theater maker, performer and poet. Trained as an actor, she developed her practice in physical theater and dance through collaborations with local and international choreographers. As a performer, she has taken part in projects with leading Lebanese groups. Yara also works with cultural organizations as a facilitator, writer and trainer. Her creative process is guided by an interest in the relationship between performance and the written word.
