Ghina Abboud is a Lebanese filmmaker and actress. She holds degrees in audiovisual arts (Al Kafaat University, 2013) and journalism (Lebanese University, 2013). She began her career as a segment director and casting director before moving into short documentaries and music videos. As an actress, she has appeared in plays, films, and music videos, including L'Heure de Loup (2011), Hometown (2018) and Mashrou' Leila's Aoede (2015). After a break in 2018, she returned to filmmaking in 2020, co-creating the Ana Beirut web series (2021) and Home Bitter Home (2024). Ghina has directed five independent shorts: ROBERT! (2016), Permission (2017), Youssef (2017), Musca (2021) and Light (2022). Her first feature documentary, Until We Rest (2025), was produced by Al Jazeera Documentaries. She is currently editing her second feature, Aarsal, Throne of God.
