Reem Helou is a Syrian scenographer and visual artist. She was born in 1986 and currently lives in Germany. She earned a bachelor’s degree in scenography from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus in 2008 and a master’s degree from the Film University in Potsdam in the same field in 2023.

Reem has worked as a scenographer on theatrical and artistic productions in Damascus and Germany and as an illustrator for several magazines and publications, including Osama, a children’s magazine, from 2008 to 2014.
