Beirut Art Center

Lebanon

Beirut Art Center (BAC) is a non-profit contemporary art institution founded in 2009 dedicated to supporting innovative artistic practices in Lebanon and the wider region. Its mission is to foster experimentation, imagination and collective cultural production through exhibitions, research-based projects, learning programs and public events.

As a space committed to accessibility and civic presence, BAC functions as a cultural hub where artists, thinkers, communities and audiences meet to explore the urgencies of our time. BAC aims to nurture emerging and established practitioners, cultivate cross-disciplinary dialogue, invest in new forms of creative education and build infrastructures of care and collaboration.

Over the past decade and a half, BAC has hosted some of the most influential artists, thinkers and movements from the region and beyond. The institution continues to evolve as a laboratory for ideas, a platform for radical imagination and a public space for learning, experimentation and shared cultural futures.
