Ahmed Qabel is a documentary photographer based in Egypt. Through his long-term projects, he documents the communities and ways of life that are closely connected to him. His project Cairo Return received the Arab Documentary Photography Program from the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) in 2021 and won the Canon Student Development Programme in 2023.
