The popular theatre society for performing arts and training

"  The Popular Theater was established in Jordan in 1991 with the help and the membership of a diverse base of Arab theatrical artists. The Theater produced numerous productions, embarked on several tours across Jordan and hosted Arab and international theatre troupes. The theatre pioneered within its local community as a promoter of theatric arts, organizing specialized workshops seminars, and issuing a magazine dedicated to drama and theatre.  In 1996, the popular threatre moved its activities to Palestine under the name “The Popular Theatre Society for Performing Arts and Training”. Since then, it produced more than 20 theatrical plays and participated in many Arab theatre festivals.  Every year, it holds specialized trainings in several types of performing arts and storytelling, in addition to producing artistic radio shows, films and documentaries.  Objectives:   Discovering and nurturing promising young talents.   Producing and promoting distinguished artistic productions.   Continuous networking and cooperation with local and international cultural institutions and societies.   Contributing to cultural life, promoting arts and preserving heritage.  "
