Companions of the Cave is a video work set in a subterranean terrain where fugitives withdraw from colonial violence and state repression. Drawing from Ahl al-Kahf and Maroon histories, it traces silence, sleep, and opacity as infrapolitical strategies of survival. Fugitivity suspends colonial time, reconfigures space, and preserves humanity beyond regimes of capture and datafication.
