See-Saw is a short story collection that explores human vulnerability and fragility. In a muted inner voice, the collection takes, as a point of departure, the intellectual and emotional depths that drive behavior, where actions seem entirely convincing and justified. In general, it can be read as a literary variation on human concerns, and particularly women’s, with the shadows of war flickering through it, shedding light on how action reverberates within the human psyche.
