Saha Omar is a visual exploration shaped as an ongoing dialogue with Algerian psychiatrist and revolutionary Frantz Fanon. Initially conceived as a photography commission marking the centenary of Fanon’s birth, the project gradually transformed into a deeply personal journey through memory, psychiatry, borders, family histories, and the lingering echoes of colonial violence in contemporary Algeria.
