The Silk Keepers is a children’s short story that follows the last family of silkworm breeders and silk makers in the region. Drawing on legendary figures from Arab folk tales, it aims to revive elements of oral storytelling and to integrate them into everyday life. The book features illustrations made with a range of printmaking techniques and is the first in a planned series dedicated to documenting endangered traditional crafts.
