The Afro-Asian Film Week includes a workshop, a publication and a program of screenings and events. Building on research on the Second Afro-Asian Film Festival (AAFF) that took place in Cairo in February/March 1960, the project attempts to revive the festival by looking at the programming of Third World films screened in different contexts in Egypt, during that period and in the present.
