Injunctions is an immersive performance that invites an audience to experience and bear witness to societal injunctions that affect each body. The performance combines moving bodies, an ad hoc textual reading, an audio-visual installation sharing testimonies of individuals subjected to negative societal norms, and an immersive setup that empowers the artistic director to guide the audience into a sphere of self-awareness and care. The project aims to create a transformative experience where the weight of injunctions dissipates and a profound state of consciousness emerges, fostering a time of liberation from imposed norms.
