Turba brings together dance, music and visual and plastic arts to question the relationship of singularity between a crowd and its territory. To enact this question, the performance will create a porous boundary between the space of the five performers and the audience. As Turba goes over moments of daily life, of intimacy, of disturbance, it will invite the two groups to exchange and build out their own language to experience these moments, thereby challenging the static role of an audience member as an individual in a crowd and working toward making a new crowd in miniature.
