This archive book will include the works of queer artists from the South West Asia and North Africa (SWANA) region. Haven for Artists aims to archive monumental artworks and uncover artworks of little exposure, to showcase art’s impact on documenting and shaping queer realities within local contexts, and the limitations/freedoms in art practices in the face of censorship and marginalization.
