عِلْقْ – “Elq” proposes a queer Arab Muslim futuristic vision that is based on healing through rewriting histories on one’s own terms and (re)building an identity that has been often misinterpreted .The video installation draws inspiration for the performance elements from manuscripts نرهة الالباب في ما لا يوجد في كتاب by Amazigh poet and anthologist Ahmad Al tifashi (1184-1253 A.D).
