A collection of stories around life in Omani cities and countryside, “Side Entrance to the House” examines the dimensions of the place, and the nature of people today, as the latter has not been mentioned in Omani literature to present. In fact, the spirit of epics and mythology has taken over Omani literature, derived from the marked presence of magic in collective imagination. The project addresses the presence of the Omani individual today, in light of the isolation that he/she lives forcibly, due to authority and its various tools.
