Immortal Objects for a Dead Artist

This project addresses the concept of “artist-subject”, in view of providing an insider view of the contextual and political dimension in which the artist develops inside a museum, in light of the cultural dependency on the issue of representativeness and cultural dimension in the MENA region. The museum was selected as a dramaturgical space for this work due to the museum’s nature as a space that reevaluates solid objects within it. Furthermore, the museum is considered an intellectual center in its relation to geographical and political representation in a given region. This is the third and final work of a comprehensive project that began in 2015, based on the desire to question “the artistic domain” and its relation to crises.
