The project aims to salvage Omar Zenni's poetic and musical heritage by compiling his entire works and digitizing them with high quality from the primary source. Forty disks were received by “Nadi Lekol Nas” from the family of Omar Zenni, who is considered one of the most notorious poets and critical musicians in Lebanon. Known as “The poet of the people” and “The Molière of the Orient”, Zenni introduced political patriotism and satirical social criticism into his sung poetry, focusing on criticism of the present and the existing order.
