The Ardennes Festival is the first festival of its kind in Mauritania focusing on traditional art through musical instruments of common heritage dimensions, especially the Ardennes. The Ardennes is a traditional Mauritanian instrument that is played by women, yet, there is no curriculum or teaching methodology for this instrument.
