The project is a multimedia solo performance exploring the historic figure of Leila Khaled, a fighter for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Khaled redefined Palestinian resistance, becoming an international icon of armed struggle and a symbol of the exoticized Arab woman in Western media. This project will premiere in March 2020 at Abrons Arts Center in New York City.
