“Abandoned Property” is an artistic archiving project that investigates the impact of cultural looting through the lens of the contemporary art world, focusing on its effect on the lives and practices of specific artists. The project will identify artists especially affected by or engaged with the phenomenon, and will be aimed at developing an archival exhibition exploring – and reverting – its mechanisms.
