“The Ten Murders of Josephine” is a major solo exhibition of new works by Lebanese artist Rana Hamadeh commissioned by Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art, Rotterdam. The exhibition is part of a long-term project to rethink and re-dramatize – in the wake of the European response to the Syrian refugee influx – the modern notion of citizenship.
