Recording of Wassim Halal’s first Solo Album of Darbuka, Daf & Bendir and exploring rhythms and sounds of Arabic percussions in a contemporary way through compositions and improvisations. The album is divided into several “Litanies” using disrupted polyrhythms, voices and percussions. Some pieces are played Solo - others with Arabic popular and contemporary musicians from Lebanon and Egypt.
