As my earlier work on Lisan Al Tarab was about applying jazz harmonies and rhythms to Muwashahat and folk songs from the Arab world, “Quarter Tones in Harmony” is about exploring the quarter tone by proposing new ways of interpreting it using progressive jazz conceptions.
